Leaving for Hiroshima Anniversary
2005, New Zealand

The Culture of Peace Banner featuring the Banner of Peace and Manifesto 2000 was used in the photograph published by The Dominion Post, on July 27, 2005 to illustrate a story about a young New Zealander leaving on a trip to Japan to represent the Woman's International League for Peace and Freedom at the 60th anniversary of commemorations of atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasake.
